Joy Lamont-Smith works in 2D and 3D Animation Production. Her journey started in 2014 when she attended the Art Institute of Atlanta for Video Game Art and Design. After her first Internship in 2015 with Success Warriors, Joy started to seek employment through film productions, film festival productions, and music festival productions.  In 2017, Joy began freelancing part-time as an animator, realizing her passion with her first independent production, "Mother's Day". In 2020, Joy Worked as a Full-time Freelance Animator and Animation Producer. Throughout the Pandemic, Joy has collaborated with Companies and Artists such as Black Barmitzbah, Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy, The Black Femme Supremacy Film Festival,  Just 1 Media, No Filler Productions, and many more.

Currently, she is producing her first Web Series, "Sock Puppets" Stay tuned for the premiere!
